Synopsis: When the Prime Minister of a small country has a heart attack while negotiating a peace treaty with neighboring countries, she is selected to receive the first bionic heart. Steve is assigned to protect her while she is transported to the secret hospital where the procedure will take place.

John and co-host, artist Jerry Lange, are joined by longtime fan Elizabeth Goddard. They discuss the changing of country names in the political climate of the 70s and Anne Revere's performance. In addition, we play This or That with a focus on those targeted by the Red Scare of the 50s.

Synopsis:A plane carrying Steve, a senator, and the senator's aides crashes in the desert. Steve must lead the others to safety despite being blinded in the crash.

John and co-host, artist Jerry Lange, are joined by longtime fan Mike Nelli. They discuss the more serious tone to this episode and the lack of bionics used, especially to resolve the situation.  Plus, we discuss the novelization of this episode, the only one, besides "The Secret of Bigfoot" to get a solo adaptation.  In addition, we play This or That with a focus on the writers of the two series.
